Watercolor

Another one of my homework for painting class. I actually cropped 3/4 of the image because I didn't really like how it came out D:. After I scanned it, I found a lot of errors on the face as well so maybe when I get the time, I'll fix the whole drawing and upload the entire painting. I'm not very used to watercolor but it was fun to use them :D

Eyes

I have this huge fascination for eyes ever since I started drawing. As I improve my skills over the years, many parts of the drawing changes its form (anatomy, facial structure, the colors, etc.)... One of the hardest part for me to change were the eyes of my people. I always kept it very fantasy-esque and stayed away from both realism and over exaggerations. However, as everything else seems to become more accurate, or "realistic," I couldn't draw it the same way anymore. For example, the way I color the faces are much softer, more skin-like over the years... but the eyes were too strong for the rest of the features because it never changed. The eyes lost its original quality and I'm slowing developing a new way to adjust without losing the fantasy quality. From the bottom to top, it is from old to newer, respectively.

Skull.

Painting assignment. It's suppose to be a self portrait of yourself wearing a costume. I didn't have a costume but I did have a skull mask :D. I just told the prof I was Ghost Rider haha.

Mesh Exercise

I did this for Visual Computing class. I think it's my second time touching the gradient mesh tool on illustrator and there are a lot of mistakes in this. Since the lens area was done with CS5, it wasn't compatible with my CS that I had at home. So sadly the mesh disappeared when I finished it up D: . Finished it in 2 days.

I drew this for someone who was nice enough to make a site for me since I had trouble putting the CSS together. I took so many years trying to make my own site but it never worked (and the coding changed the past 10 years or so...) Anyways, he told me to draw him anything so I drew an original character. Glad he liked it ;D

Rose Sketch.

My original character. I have a background story for her and somewhat of a plot idea. I want to make a small comic revolving around her but I don't have any confidence in story-telling. Don't really know what to name it either, but I did decide to make her name simply Rose. Well, maybe one day I'll do it. Anyways, story and character were developed in my dream so I can't remember a thing right now lol. Going to submit the colored version on pixiv for OTACOOL4 if I make it in time.

I drew Dante based on the poll I put up on dA. I never drew a DMC fanart until now because I knew I couldn't draw a badass Dante fanart like every other artists I know lol. Anyways, this is a print for AX and Otakon this year! Hope to see everyone there.
