Watercolor

Another one of my homework for painting class. I actually cropped 3/4 of the image because I didn't really like how it came out D:. After I scanned it, I found a lot of errors on the face as well so maybe when I get the time, I'll fix the whole drawing and upload the entire painting. I'm not very used to watercolor but it was fun to use them :D

Eyes

I have this huge fascination for eyes ever since I started drawing. As I improve my skills over the years, many parts of the drawing changes its form (anatomy, facial structure, the colors, etc.)... One of the hardest part for me to change were the eyes of my people. I always kept it very fantasy-esque and stayed away from both realism and over exaggerations. However, as everything else seems to become more accurate, or "realistic," I couldn't draw it the same way anymore. For example, the way I color the faces are much softer, more skin-like over the years... but the eyes were too strong for the rest of the features because it never changed. The eyes lost its original quality and I'm slowing developing a new way to adjust without losing the fantasy quality. From the bottom to top, it is from old to newer, respectively.
